Meet Chuco!!

Chuco is around 1 year old and a sweet, sensitive Lab mix with a heart of gold and a playful personality that's ready to shine.

New people and new situations can feel a little overwhelming for Chuco at first, but once he realizes he's safe, his gentle and affectionate side starts to appear. This handsome boy enjoys attention, loves spending time with other dogs, and is discovering that life can be pretty fun!

Chuco is a big fan of toys: especially anything he can chase, carry around, or happily chew on. He has a goofy, playful streak that's just waiting for the right family to help it fully blossom. And while he may look like a grown dog, Chuco is absolutely convinced he's a lap dog. If you're sitting down, don't be surprised if he tries to join you!!

Like many young dogs, Chuco is still learning the basics. He's looking for a patient adopter who can help him build confidence, practice leash walking, work on potty training, and teach him a few manners along the way. With positive reinforcement, consistency, and lots of love, Chuco has all the potential to grow into an AMAZING companion.

What Chuco needs most is someone who will give him the time to settle in and show him that the world isn't so scary after all. In return, you'll get a loyal best friend, a playful adventure buddy, and a lovable oversized lap dog who just wants to be close to his people!

Adopt Phantom! 🖤

At just 12 weeks old, Phantom is a handsome little kitten with a gentle heart, and a playful streak!

When Phantom first went to his foster home, the world felt like a pretty big place. He preferred to watch from the safety of his hiding spot and take everything in from a distance. But with time, patience, and lots of kindness, this sweet boy has blossomed into a curious, loving kitten who is ready to find his forever family.

Phantom is looking for a quiet, patient home that will let him continue building confidence at his own pace. While he may occasionally make a game of running away when it's time to be picked up, he's not truly afraid: just a silly kitten having fun! Once in your arms, he rewards you with loud purrs and plenty of sweetness.

This little guy loves to play. You'll often find him chasing the red laser dot, leaping after streamers, batting fuzzy balls around the house, and zooming from room to room. His absolute favorite activity? Racing through a cat tunnel! He especially loves chasing other kitties through it and showing off his hilarious zoomies with quick turns, jumps, and bursts of speed.

Phantom has a slight limp from a previous injury, and he currently doesn't jump very high. But that doesn't slow him down when it's time to play and explore!

When playtime is over, Phantom enjoys being close to his people. And if you happen to have a Churu squeeze treat? You'll instantly become his favorite person.

For someone willing to give him the time and understanding he deserves, Phantom will be an incredibly rewarding companion. Watching this shy little boy continue to grow in confidence is a gift, and he's ready to share that journey with a family of his own.

🐾 Adopt Twitchy!

At around 11 years old, Twitchy has perfected the art of enjoying the simple things in life. This sweet, easygoing senior girl loves cozy naps, watching the world go by from a sunny window, and soaking up all the pets and affection she can get.

Twitchy warms up quickly to her people and is happiest when she's spending time nearby her person and leaning in for attention and occasionally blessing you with a lap cuddle (when she decides it's time, of course!).

Twitchy is looking for a home where she can be the one and only pet. She'd love to be the center of attention and the only spoiled animal in the household, with no other pets around to cause stress.

Before coming to us, Twitchy was declawed. Because of this, her future family should understand that declawed cats can be more prone to arthritis and paw sensitivity. She currently uses a special soft litter to help keep her comfortable.

Mia came to the shelter as a devoted mama cat, raising her kittens with love and care in foster. Now that her babies are grown and weaned, it's finally Mia's turn to be the center of attention.

This sweet girl settled into foster care almost immediately and showed everyone what a gentle, affectionate companion she is. Mia loves head and back scratches, rubs up against her people for pets, and is happiest lounging nearby while you relax. She's quiet, mild-mannered, and easygoing, even around children and visitors.

Mia has a calm personality that makes her a wonderful fit for a variety of homes. While she's not a fan of being picked up, she's more than happy to show her affection in her own way and spend time close to the people she loves. If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion with the softest paws around, Mama Mia may be your perfect match!!

Kitten season is in full swing, and the babies just keep coming in. We are feeling the impact every day and are working around the clock to keep these little ones healthy, fed, and safe.

Right now, we are running very low on:
Kitten wet food
Kitten formula
Bottles and ni***es
Blender bottles for formula

We are also hoping to add a bottle sterilizer to our supplies! For fragile neonatal kittens, even a small amount of leftover soap residue or formula in a bottle can pose a serious risk, so proper sanitation is incredibly important.

Meet Saffron! 🌼

This stunning 2-year-old calico beauty is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to blossom. 💛🧡🖤

Saffron may be a little shy at first, but beneath that cautious exterior is one of the sweetest, chattiest cats you'll ever meet. It took her about a week to start approaching her foster, and now she comes running to say hello, asks for pets, headbutts hands for attention, and happily flops over while purring.

Saffron is still building confidence and isn't quite ready to be picked up or sit in laps yet, but she's making progress every day. Her foster describes her as a cat who desperately wants to be loved and grows more trusting with every interaction.

All adult dogs and cats (6 months and older) are $25 through the end of July!

Our adoptions are walk in during normal business hours and do not require a call ahead or appointment. All adoption visits end an hour prior to closing!
Please note: Animals that are currently in foster homes will require an appointment since they are not hanging out at the shelter right now.
If you have a resident dog, you are required to bring them for a meet and greet with another dog prior to adoption so we can facilitate a happy introduction.

Adopt Sassy! 🌸

Sassy is ready to leave her past behind and find the loving family she's been waiting for.

When Sassy first came to us, she had been through more than any young dog should. She was severely underweight, feeling defeated, and needed surgery to remove part of her tail. But thanks to dedicated veterinary care and our wonderful medical team, an absolutely amazing foster family, and a lot of love, Sassy has made an incredible comeback.

Today, she's a happy, playful girl who is looking for the perfect home where she can continue to thrive and show just how fun life can be.

Sassy's foster family describes her as sweet, loving, curious, and always wanting to be part of the action.
