Tomorrow, we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates Black freedom, resilience, and achievement. Here at EOC, we’re reminded of the important work we do to build more equitable, inclusive communities.

In observance of the holiday, EOC will be closed on June 19. We will resume normal operations on Monday, June 22.

A single gift can keep the A/C running. It can prevent this week’s groceries from spoiling. It can give a neighbor breathing room when they need it most.

Right now, you can make a real difference for hardworking families trying to balance the rising costs of...well, almost everything.

Hotter temperatures mean higher energy bills, but they don’t have to mean shutoffs for our neighbors in need. Give today: https://na2.hubs.ly/H063JMs0

A big thank you to Y-W Electric Association Inc. for their generous contribution to EOC, which will provide bill payment assistance for their customers across Northeastern Colorado. This commitment makes a real difference 💚

We also want to recognize CoBank for matching this donation so that we can help even more families. Double the gift means double the impact for our neighbors in need!

We’re proud to have been part of this week’s celebration of US Solar's Lowry Community Solar Projects, six new community solar gardens in Aurora that will bring affordable, renewable energy to 5,000 income-qualified Colorado households. EOC manages subscriptions for these income-qualified households, and as of last week, subscribers are officially enrolled and already saving on their energy bills.

This effort marks a major step forward for community solar, and we're grateful to our partners at US Solar and to Governor Jared Polis for working to make clean energy accessible for all!

Energy costs are climbing, and families are feeling it. According to a recent national E Source survey:

⚡ 62% of households are seeing higher utility bills
💰 60% feel financial stress trying to pay them
🍎 35% have cut back on food just to keep the lights on

No one should have to make the choice between energy and other essentials like food or medication.

Give to EOC today and help provide immediate relief to families facing impossible tradeoffs: https://na2.hubs.ly/H05VhSb0
