Titanic Tuesday! This linoleum tile was made for Titanic's smoking room. It was an excess piece installed instead at Harland & Wolff, manufacturers of the Titanic, so it did not go down with the ship. See this tile in person at the museum through December. From the collection of

What is it Wednesday! Kate Ferretti made hats for all the society ladies in Denver, including Mrs. Brown. This hat is a recreation, by Ferretti, of one she made for Margaret. She was sporting her suffrage colors in this purple ensemble!

Titanic Tuesday! We have a never-before-seen Titanic artifact on display: first-class passenger Frederick Sutton's personal items, including a watch and his eyeglasses, were placed in this mortuary bag to be returned to his family. Donating can be fun when you get a cute little trinket! Come support the museum by donating $5 or more and grabbing a reusable glass bottle with a recipe for the Bees Knees cocktail inside! According to a newspaper article (attached to the bottle as well) Margaret invented the Bees Knees! How fun! π We look forward to seeing you in the museum store!
