Last week, Colorado’s creative community gathered in Create Trinidad Creative District for the 2026 CCI Summit.

Together, we explored the future of arts, culture, community development, film, creative districts, entrepreneurship, and placemaking across Colorado. We learned from one another, celebrated achievements, and strengthened connections that will continue long after the Summit ends.

As we look forward, CCI plans to move to a biennial schedule and our next CCI Summit will take place in 2028 in Estes Arts District. The updated model reflects the growth of the Summit and our commitment to investing in high-quality convening that foster professional development, collaboration and relationship building across the state’s creative sector! Festivities kicked off yesterday with pre-convenings for Colorado Creative Districts and Colorado Change Leaders, alongside creative activations, performances, exhibitions, and community gatherings happening throughout downtown Trinidad.
