Access to the internet plays an important role in connection, employment, independence, and everyday life — yet people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) are still far less likely to be online than people without disabilities.
To help bridge this digital divide, AT&T and The Arc have partnered to offer free digital skills training designed specifically for people with I/DD.
Topics include:
✅ Computers, mobile devices, and video calls
✅ Navigating websites and search engines
✅ Avoiding scams and online fraud
✅ Building healthy online relationships
✅ Finding credible information online

June is PTSD Awareness Month, and it’s a time to raise awareness about the far-reaching impact of post-traumatic stress disorder and to advocate for understanding, support, and care for those living with it.
PTSD affects just under 5% of the general adult population in the U.S. — but for veterans and first responders, that rate rises to nearly 8%. Without treatment, symptoms like flashbacks, severe anxiety, and insomnia can become even more serious. Trauma can affect anyone, and it often shows up in ways we don't expect, including in the people we support every day.
Whether you work in behavioral health, disability services, or caregiving, or you're simply someone who wants to better understand the people around you, awareness is a powerful first step.
