In 2002 the Historic Elitch Gardens Theatre Foundation was created to spearhead the restoration and preservation of Denver's oldest theatre. One of our first supporters was Palace Construction , and the founder, Lou Jahde, even joined our Board of Directors.

Based on Stephen King's iconic story, this dark and compelling musical follows Carrie White, a teenage outsider struggling to find her place in a world that often feels stacked against her.

Whether you're a longtime theatre fan or simply looking for a memorable night out, this unique production offers a chance to experience live theatre inside one of Denver's most historic performance spaces.

We're celebrating one of our favorite alumni today! Best known as Valene Ewing on *Knots Landing*, Joan's incredible journey in theatre began right here in Colorado — performing on our historic stage at just 17 years old, before going on to Broadway and a Tony nomination!
