Lynn Bartels, ‘Grand Dame’ of Colorado politics, dies Lynn Bartels, a former Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post reporter celebrated for her dogged reporting, deep sources and infectious personality, has died.
This Sunday we celebrate Father’s Day, honoring the dads, grandfathers, father figures, and caregivers in District 5 who show up every day with love, strength, and care for their families and our community. We also hold those remembering fathers who are no longer with us close in heart. Wishing everyone a day of appreciation and time well spent with family and loved ones!

I’m proud to be bringing this proposal to the voters because it will include residents in the creation of our budget much earlier in the process. Our budget is a reflection of our values and it should be representative of what our community wants to see.
