If your DACA is expiring soon, don't wait.
Consider renewing early when there are 150+ days left before expiration. Some renewals are taking as long as 7 months to process right now. USCIS is failing to process applications on time — and our neighbors are paying the price. We are demanding better.

In 1978, Gail Schoettler co-founded the Women's Bank of Denver — one of the first banks in the country built specifically to serve women and small businesses who had long been shut out of traditional financial institutions.
She went on to become the Colorado State Treasurer, serving two terms managing the state's finances. In 1994, she was elected Colorado's Lieutenant Governor, where she negotiated the environmental cleanup of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal and Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Facility — saving Colorado billions of dollars. She then served as a United States Ambassador.
After narrowly losing a race for Governor by fewer than 8,000 votes, she co-founded Electing Women alongside Judi Wagner — a national giving circle that has raised over $35 million for women running for Governor and U.S. Senate across the country. That was her response to a narrow loss. That is who she is.
We are proud to honor Ambassador Gail Schoettler as a 2026 Leader of Democracy. Join us this Thursday, June 18th at History Colorado Center to celebrate her.

In 1975, Judi Wagner founded Wagner Investment Management — the first woman-owned investment firm in Colorado — at a time when women had only just gained the legal right to access banking services in their own name.
Three years later, she co-founded the Women's Bank of Denver. On opening day, it pulled in $1 million in deposits, and within 12 weeks, it had become the second-largest women's bank in the country.
She went on to co-found Electing Women, a national giving circle that has raised over $35 million for women running for Governor and U.S. Senate across the country. And she co-founded the first university-based center for women's health research in the United States at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus — fundamentally changing how medical research approaches women's health.
Four institutions. Five decades. One extraordinary woman.
We are proud to honor Judi Wagner as a 2026 Leader of Democracy. Join us June 18th at History Colorado Center to celebrate her.

Well said, friends!
📆 Before 1964, literacy tests and poll taxes were used to block the ballot.
➡️ Today, our voting rights are under attack. The best response is to turn out to vote and exercise our most important right as Americans. 🗳️

On this date in 1919, Congress approved the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which said that the right of Americans to vote “shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.” (The amendment was then sent to the states for ratification.)
