Free Kids Books -Celebrate the Summer at the Library: Kids can attend one of the following programs and choose a free book to keep!

Toddler Storytime on Friday, June 26th at 10:15 am (board and picture books given away)

Family Laughter Yoga on Wednesday, July 1st at 3 pm (no yoga mat required - great for any age that can laugh)

Kids Book Celebration - Thursday, July 16th at 4 pm (Graphic Novels will be given away Kindergarten and up)

Level Up Tweens Tuesday, July 21 at 4:30 pm (Tween and Teen Books)

Celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride with snacks, crafts and activities for the whole family. All families with youth are invited. Special guest Mx Shirley will read some of our favorite kids' books. This Saturday, June 13, 2:30-3:30.

Evolving, is a term used in Pokémon for when one creature changes into another. The real-world term is called metamorphosis.
We have some caterpillars who are evolving at the library - come see their progress! If you have a Pokémon fan at home come to our Pokémon Family Book Celebration on Thursday, June 18 at 4 pm

Kids, families and music lovers are invited on Tuesday, June 9 at 10:30 to learn about Taiko, Japanese drumming, during a performance intermingled with Japanese culture and history, and perhaps some hands on involvement from members of the audience. This Thursday our Family Book Celebration is all about Hip-Hop! Learn a bit about hip hop and then learn some dance moves from our dance teacher Rhianna. Thursday, May 21st at 4 pm.

Get ready for a whirlwind of fun and laughter with a free community performance of Aesop Live!

Join Mile High Youth Theatre as they bring Aesop’s famous fables to life, sharing clever animals, silly antics, and important lessons along the way. Kids will meet the clever Fox, the wise Tortoise, the speedy Hare, and many more as they race through story after story—morals included!

This energetic, interactive play is perfect for young audiences, encouraging imagination, curiosity, and a love of storytelling.

Mile High Youth Theatre's Theatre for Young Audiences program, Encore Presents, features high school actors performing for early elementary, bringing live theatre to schools, libraries, and community spaces across Denver.
