NWS Flood Advisory- WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHEREl...Portions of southeast Alabama, including the following counties, Coffee, Dale, Geneva and Houston, Florida, including the following counties, Gadsden, Holmes, Jackson and Walton, and southwest Georgia, including the following counties, Decatur, Early, Miller and Seminole. * WHEN...Until 445 PM EDT /345 PM CDT/. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 146 PM EDT /1246 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area.
