We have kittens available! Featured today are brothers and sister A.C. (orange), Slater (buff/cream), and Kelly (tortoiseshell)! They are approximately 2-3 months old, and are sweet and playful and ready to have so much fun with you!

They have been started on their kitten vaccination series, dewormed, received flea prevention, and will be neutered and microchipped before going home!

Nutmeg is approximately 1 year old, and she currently weighs around 50 pounds. She has been vaccinated, and will be spayed and micro-chipped before going to her new home. The cost of her spay surgery will be sponsored, and she qualifies for Fluffy Dog Friday! Adopt her on a Friday and we’ll waive her adoption fee too!

Nutmeg has shown some desire to chase the squirrels and wild bunnies that she sees near the play yards, so a home without cats might be best.

Ricky is a handsome male Shepherd who is looking for a new family or best friend! German Shepherds are smart, fun, loyal dogs who bond closely with their favorite humans. If you’ve been looking for a new devoted pup, we encourage you to come meet him! He may be open to living with a new dog friend too, provided it’s a good match.

Ricky is approximately five years old, and currently weighs just under 90 pounds. He has been vaccinated, neutered, and chipped, so he’s ready to go home right away!

Sweet Matilda is looking for a new family to share walks and playtime and cuddles with! She is approximately 2 years old, and weighs just over 70 pounds. She has been vaccinated, spayed, and micro-chipped, so she’s ready to go home right away! Matilda has shown a bit of desire to chase squirrels and bunnies that she sees in the play yards, so a home without cats might be best. She may be open to living with another dog though, provided it’s a good fit.

Are you interested in an alternative pet? While we mostly house dogs, cats, and rabbits at our shelter, we do occasionally have other pets available too!

We currently have one domestic duck, and three red eared slider turtles who are looking for new homes!

UPDATE: Our duck has found a home! The turtles are still available!

Please keep in mind that all species of pets have their own unique needs and requirements for care, and make sure to properly research the pet that you’re interested in before committing to bringing one home. And remember that domestic ducks and non-native turtles, as well as pet bunnies and other pet rodents, should NEVER be released into the wild.

Amongst other things, ducks require space, predator proof housing, companions, and access to water. They can be very social and fun, but are also messy and can be noisy; and depending on your property’s zoning, may require a permit to own. 🦆

Red eared slider turtles also come with their own set of needs, including a fairly large tank, or a maintained pond. They grow up to 12 inches or more, and can live for 20-30 years! 🐢
