During California Department of Water Resources' scheduled maintenance from June 27 to July 2, Tri-Valley residents and businesses are encouraged to reduce their outdoor water use. (Recycled water customers: this maintenance will not affect our recycled water system, so no need to reduce irrigation during this time.) Check out the details below and join the water-saving effort!

From June 27–July 2, the Department of Water Resources (DWR) will perform seasonally necessary maintenance on State Water Project facilities that supply water to the region. During that time, we’re asking residents and businesses help by reducing outdoor water use during this short period as a proactive measure to preserve supplies for essential needs. In this month’s DSRSD at Work, we’re highlighting DSRSD's laboratory staff as they collect recycled water samples from our recycled water treatment facility and test for the presence of bacteria at our onsite lab. These behind-the-scenes efforts, performed several times each week, help ensure our recycled water continues to meet strict quality standards.
