The Duluth Police Department offers a secure Med-Return Box located in our front lobby for safe and responsible disposal.

✅ Accepted:
• Prescription medications
• Over-the-counter medications

❌ Not Accepted:
• Needles or sharps
• Syringes with needles
• Thermometers, IV bags, or medical equipment
• Inhalers, hydrogen peroxide, personal care products, or contaminated waste

Why use it?
Unused medications can lead to accidental poisonings, misuse, or theft. Our Med-Return Program helps keep dangerous drugs out of the wrong hands — no questions asked.

📝 Take private property accident reports
🔎 Handle lost and found reports
🎉 Assist with community events and outreach
🚔 Respond to non-emergency calls

💰 Salary: $48,787 per year
