Our Family Harvest volunteer team recently toured Second Harvest of Silicon Valley and learned more about the incredible work they do to fight hunger across our region.

One inspiring takeaway was their commitment to zero waste, ensuring that food scraps are repurposed whenever possible to support local farms and animal feed programs. This innovative approach helps maximize resources while reducing waste.

The visit provided valuable insights and renewed inspiration as we continue serving our community through our Family Harvest food distribution program every Tuesday in East Palo Alto.

At WeHOPE, we believe access to food should be simple and dignified. That's why our distribution site is free for all those in need, because when someone is hungry, getting food is what matters most.

When Loland came to WeHOPE, she faced uncertainty despite having a housing voucher and overcoming challenges related to domestic violence and addiction. With determination and support from her case manager and the WeHOPE team, she successfully navigated the housing process, completed her housing inspection, and secured a place to call home.

Today, Loland is safely housed and building a brighter future filled with stability and hope. Stories like hers remind us that with the right support, new beginnings are possible. 💙

🌟 Community Partnership Spotlight 🌟

Since November 2023, our partnership with FedEx Ground has had a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve. Through the efforts of East Palo Alto resident Jamal Gray, FedEx Ground has donated essential items, including laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, and hygiene products for men, women, and children.

These donations help reduce operating costs, strengthen our programs, and ensure that valuable resources reach our community rather than go to waste.

Thank you to FedEx Ground and Jamal Gray for your generosity and commitment to creating positive change. Together, we're making a difference, one donation at a time. 💙
