π The countdown to America's 250th Birthday Celebration has officially begun! π
Today, El Paso County leaders joined Fort Bliss representatives, community partners, and special guests at Ascarate Park to officially kick off the County's July 4th America 250 Celebration.
The event highlighted the exciting lineup planned for Independence Day, including live performances by the 1st Armored Division Band, military vehicle displays from Fort Bliss and the 1st Armored Division, food trucks, swimming, family activities, commemorative America 250 coins, and a spectacular fireworks display over Ascarate Lake.
Thank you to Fort Bliss, the 1st Armored Division, County leadership, and a special thank you to the City of Socorro for joing us to promote their INDX July 4th event!

In observance of the Juneteenth holiday, all El Paso County administrative offices along with the Enrqiue Moreno County Courthouse will be closed Friday, June 19th. Regular business hours will resume Monday, June 22nd.
El Paso County Commissioners Court will meet in regular session on Monday, June 22nd beginning at 9:30 a.m.

As many festivities will be taking place throughout the event, volunteers will the have the opportunity to part-take and volunteer anytime between 10AM-10PM.

βΌοΈFor any interested in offering your delicious snacks and drinks throughout the event are required to register.

Local Vendors participating in the event can expect to be present between 3PM- 10PM to set-up and tear-down food stations.
