Temperatures are rising, but El Paso Parks and Recreation is here to help!🌡️☀️

To help residents stay safe during extreme heat, designated Cooling Centers are available across the city, providing air-conditioned spaces for individuals and families to cool off and avoid heat-related illnesses.

In partnership with the El Paso Public Library, OEM, and the Extreme Weather Task Force, these locations offer a safe and comfortable place to beat the heat.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and take advantage of a Cooling Center near you. ❄️

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Nations Tobin Park as we came together to honor freedom, heritage, and unity. The evening was filled with live entertainment, community fellowship, local vendors, family activities, great food, and a shared appreciation for the significance of Juneteenth.

Exciting improvements are now complete at Thomas Manor Park! 🌳🎉

The El Paso Parks and Recreation Department is proud to unveil several enhancements that will provide a safer, more enjoyable experience for families and children in the community.

✅ Demolition and replacement of the existing playground
🛝 Brand-new playground equipment
☀️ New metal canopy with solar lighting
🛡️ New protective safety surfacing

We invite the community to come out, explore the new amenities, and enjoy all that Thomas Manor Park has to offer. Thank you for supporting our efforts to create vibrant, safe, and welcoming parks throughout El Paso!

In observance of Juneteenth Holiday, all Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed on Friday, June 19.

Regular hours of operation will resume on Saturday, June 20.
