Dear Douglass Families,

We want to inform you of an important new attendance requirement that will be in effect across El Paso ISD beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. Texas law requires students to attend at least 90% of the school year. For elementary students, missing more than 17 days may affect promotion and earning a final grade.
