You might think summer means a break for Community School Directors, but the work never stops.

At Union City Elementary, a United Way Community School, Community School Director Bailey Pituch coordinated with their Corporate Partner, Great Lakes Insurance Services Group LLC, to organize the community closet. While it may seem like a small task, efforts like these help ensure students and families have access to needed resources and set the school community up for success when the new school year begins.

We're excited to support another year of Erie Playhouse PLAYtime FREE summer camp. This family-friendly program gives children the opportunity to stay active, get creative, and have fun all summer long.

The FREE PLAYtime Summer Camp with United Way of Erie County is back and more exciting than ever! Join PLAYtime for week one beginning this Tuesday, June 16th from 1-2:30pm to set-up our campsite and settle in for the weeks of fun ahead. Campfire craft, Build-a Camp Game, fireside stories and singing all included for FREE! Hope to see you there!

Huge thank you to the Mercyhurst University students who donated their used clothing to Edison's Community Closet, which will keep us stocked for weeks! Community Engagement at Mercyhurst University helped coordinate student donations from their Trash to Treasure collections and we couldn't be more grateful!
