🚧Road Closure- Woodruff Road

🚨Woodruff Road just east of Cox Road in the Casa Grande area will be closed from July 6-August 1 for intersection improvements.

🦺Intersection improvements include:
✅Northbound and southbound left turn lanes from Cox Road.
✅Installation of culverts and raising the depressed section of Woodruff Road to the east of Cox Road, eliminating the current low flow crossing.

⚠️Expect delays and proceed with caution. See map for details and detour routes.

🚨Tomorrow- San Tan Flood Study Meeting🚨

📣The Pinal County Flood Control District is finalizing an Area Drainage Master Plan (ADMP) for the Town of San Tan Valley area.

🌊This study identified flooding issues and has developed alternative solutions and strategies to mitigate flooding hazards within the growing San Tan Valley area.

✅These solutions will help guide future infrastructure and mitigation projects in the new Town and surrounding area.

🙋‍♂️The County will be holding an open house public meeting to discuss the results of the ADMP’s Flood Mitigation study:

🚧Papoose Area Improvements Completed

🦺In the spring of 2026, Pinal County Public Works completed the Papoose Road Project between Casa Grande and Maricopa. This work involved chip-sealing the formerly dirt roads and installing a low-flow water crossing to help with flood mitigation.

🛻These improvements provide safer streets for both residents and services, as well as saving the County in maintenance costs.
