Sunday, June 21st, is Father's Day.

We want to wish a Happy Father's Day to all the dads, bonus dads, grandfathers, uncles, mentors, and father figures who show up with love, patience, and strength. Whether by birth, by choice, or through caregiving—your presence matters more than you know.

In observance of Juneteenth, our offices will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.

We honor this important day of reflection, recognition, and celebration of freedom and equality. We wish everyone a meaningful Juneteenth.

Regular business hours will resume on Monday, June 22.

Two of the Clerk's Chief Directors, Melissa and Derek, were honored to present at the June 2nd meeting of the traffic hearing officers held at the Broward County Bar Association. They shared valuable information about the traffic business processes.

Mark your calendar if you are representing yourself in Family Court and are not sure how to complete the required forms! The 17th Judicial Circuit is offering a free online clinic for Pro Se (Self Represented) parties at 6 p.m. on June 3, 2026.
Information will be presented by a Florida Bar licensed attorney. The clinic will be offered via Zoom.
Subsequent clinics will be offered at 6 p.m. via Zoom on August 5th, October 7th and December 2nd as well.

The offices of the Broward County Clerk of Courts will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026 in observance of Memorial Day as we remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Clerk Forman, business and other community leaders came together at the Friendship Circle of Greater Fort Lauderdale's annual Business Ambassador Luncheon on 4/28/26. It's all about inclusion and breaking down barriers for adults with unique abilities . Their biggest advocate, Chayale Slavaticki, brings boundless enthusiasm and encouragement that is more than a little contagious!

Clerk Forman was honored to be recognized as a dedicated supporter of Voices of Children of Broward County at their 15th annual gala on 4/18/26. This year's theme was "Capes & Courage: Soaring for Children". The room was full of superheroes coming together to support children in foster care in meaningful ways.
