Last week, the NIS team attended a local vendor expo, connecting with local reps and exploring the latest products designed for both residential and commercial irrigation.💧Gaining hands-on experience with new devices ensures we’re fully prepared well before we encounter them in the field. We also had a chance to catch up with our irrigation specialist colleagues from UF/IFAS Miami-Dade 🤝

Summertime is the perfect season for rest and inspiration. 💡Last week, we brought together dozens of Broward County Public School teachers for an impactful day of Environmental Stewardship Training. We demonstrated how South Florida’s unique environment serves as a powerful teaching guide, ventured into the wilds of Fern Forest to collect valuable observations using iNaturalist, and showcased how to create and design NatureScapes at schools. Here’s a glimpse of our successful day!📸

An air quality alert issued by the US National Weather Service Miami Florida and Broward County’s Air Program remains in effect until noon today. Early this morning, particulate levels were near the unhealthy for sensitive groups range but are currently in the moderate range across the County. As winds increase, lingering smoke will dissipate. Air quality is expected to stay at a moderate, acceptable level. However, sensitive individuals may still experience risks and should take precautions by limiting their time outdoors.
