As we celebrate and observe this historic and powerful day, let us reflect on our shared responsibility to build a more just, equitable, and inclusive Tarrant County for ALL.

With the help and generosity of leaders and donors from right here in Tarrant County and all across Texas, TCYD raised $9,500 at our Flip Tarrant fundraiser on Saturday. Our community knows the value of a people-powered, youth-led movement. Thousands more doors knocked, relationships built, voters registered, and a much, much bigger universe is how we win this November.

Because of the generosity of these sponsors, TCYD will have boots on the ground, phones ringing, mailers sent, and the resources we need to put candidates like and and so many amazing Dems up and down the ballot across the finish line.

We heard from our next County Judge, Commissioner Alisa Simmons, and our next District Attorney, Tiffany Burks! We also had the pleasure of welcoming statewide judicial candidate Holly Taylor along with incredible candidates and leaders down the ballot.

But the biggest takeaway from the night wasn’t the fundraising total. It was the momentum we are seeing across our county and the energy in the room last night.

Tarrant is ready for a new chapter. Young people are tired of being underrepresented, and we’re ready to meet the moment. The people of Tarrant County are ready for NEW leadership that reflects who we are.

The opportunity we have to flip this county is stronger than ever, from the top of the ticket to races all the way down the ballot. This movement is about more than donations. It’s about the people of Tarrant County who are ready to step up, volunteer, and elect leaders who truly represent them.
