Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD Libraries

Summer Reading Camp took us to Australia and Africa this week! We have one week left. Students entering kindergarten through 5th grade can join us at Hatley Elementary on Tuesday or Gililland Elementary on Thursday, 8:30-10:00. We will also have a small Buy One Get One book fair for our final week!

We are traveling the world at Summer Reading Camp! Last week, we toured France and Italy, built towers, and had a pizza snack. This week, we visited Japan and China and crafted cherry blossoms. All tourists (readers) have a "suitcase" and collect travel stickers for each destination. Join us next week for Australia and Africa!

Mrs. Leal's Texas History classes explored a traveling exhibit in the HMS library this week. Students took part in a digital scavenger hunt answering questions and completing missions over things they learned.

Today is the high school North Texas Book Battle competition! Students from all four high schools represented their campuses as they battled on their knowledge of 10 YA novels. Congrats to these students on their competitions!
