The District 2 office and City of Fort Worth Development staff held the first public open house meeting for Transit Oriented Development (TOD) for the NE 28th Street corridor. Proposed council-initiated rezoning of industrial properties is being considered to facilitate more development around the Northside Trinity Metro TexRail station.

The Far Greater Northside Historical Neighborhood Association held its Juneteenth celebration in Lincoln Park on Saturday.
