Sometimes the hardest part is not knowing where to begin.
At One Safe Place, you do not need to have the right words. You do not need to have a plan. You do not need to know exactly what kind of help you need.
We will listen, help you understand your options, and connect you with support, safety planning, and services that meet you where you are.
When you are ready, we are here.

Our Camp HOPE kiddos are back home with memories, friendships, and experiences theyβll carry with them long after camp ends.
None of that would be possible without partners like JPS Health Network. Thank you to the nurses and technicians who volunteered their time to help ensure our campers arrived healthy, safe, and ready for an incredible week.
Weβre grateful for your care and for the difference you make in the lives of the children we serve. π
π JPS in the Community π
Each year, JPS Health Network partners with One Safe Place and Camp Hope to provide medical screenings for children attending camp.
JPS nurses and techs volunteer their time to complete basic health screenings, helping ensure campers are healthy and ready for a safe, fun experience.
Weβre grateful for the volunteers who make this day possible and support families with care and compassion. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to extending care beyond hospital walls and into the community.

ποΈ Camp HOPE Texas starts TODAY!
This week, kids who deserve a chance to just be kids get to laugh, grow, and make friends. With caring counselors by their side, they'll discover something powerful: hope is real, and they have the power to shape what comes next.
We are so glad this week is finally here. Let's go! π

When school ends, families may face less routine, less privacy, less childcare, more financial pressure, and fewer safe adults checking in.
These stressors do not cause abuse. Abuse is always a choice.
But if home does not feel safe, you do not have to navigate it alone. One Safe Place is here with advocacy, safety planning, legal help, counseling, and support under one roof.

This Older Americans Month, we recognize the importance of health, independence, connection, and access to support.
Domestic violence can impact individuals of any age, and for older adults, isolation, dependence, or financial control can make abusive situations even more difficult to navigate.
One Safe Place offers advocacy, safety planning, legal support, counseling services, and access to more than 25 on-site partner agencies providing wraparound support for individuals and families at every stage of life.

Sometimes helping survivors looks like advocacy, counseling, or legal support. Sometimes it looks like picking up a paint roller and helping create a space where families can feel safe, welcomed, and cared for. π
Big thanks to the staff and volunteers spending their time helping repaint our daycare center this week.
Because when parents or guardians come to One Safe Place for help, having a safe and welcoming place for their children matters too.

Yesterday, the One Safe Place team took some time to celebrate the people behind this work. π
We recognized staff members through our Core Value Awards for the way they embody safety, respect, justice, hope, and excellence in the work they do every day for survivors and our community.
And because this team knows how to bring joy into even difficult work, we also shared some lighthearted superlative awards along the way. Even Theo, our therapy dog, earned one, which probably tells you everything you need to know about the energy in the room.
The work inside a Family Justice Center can be heavy, so moments of laughter, encouragement, and appreciation matter.
Grateful for this incredible team and the compassion they bring to this mission every single day.
