FWFD station 15

If you lost power this morning on the northside, here’s why. An 18 wheeler caught fire when it came into contact with a high voltage line at a sub station. Once power was cut to the line 15s was able to put out the fire. The driver of the truck was able to safely exit before fire arrived on scene. Thanks Sansom Park Fire Department for the extra 1,000 gallons.

15s b- shift first on ( with some A and C shift guys). 15s Checked on with smoke showing and pulled a big booster and quickly put out two rooms. Also former 15s b-shift driver Jeff Casey first fire as a newly promoted Lieutenant!

15s highly trained swift water team on scene

15s B-shift had a fire late last night in River Oaks. 15s set up a water supply and aided in fire suppression.
