Make a Difference Through Community Service!
Tarrant County 4-H is now accepting applications for the Quilts of Valor Committee.
Quilts of Valor honors service members and veterans by awarding handmade quilts as a meaningful thank you for their service and sacrifice.
We are looking for 10 4-H youth and 2 4-H adult volunteers to help lead this community service project. This is a great opportunity to build leadership skills while giving back to those who have served our country.
First meeting will be held virtually in July.
Deadline to apply: June 21, 2026 at midnight.

Gun Safety Starts Here
Join Tarrant County 4-H and community partners for an important firearm safety class designed for youth and families. This program focuses on education, prevention, and responsible practices to help keep homes and communities safe.
Participants will learn about safe firearm storage, how to prevent unauthorized access, and how to respond if a child encounters a firearm. The class will also provide helpful resources, including information on free gun safety locks and how to start conversations about safety at home and in the community.
Date: August 24, 2026
Time: 6:30โ7:30 PM
Location: Betsy Price Community Center, 8375 Blue Mound Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76131
Each family in attendance will be entered for a chance to win a handgun safe.

We are rocking it at State Roundup this year! Drew received a 4-H foundation scholarship, Lane placed 8th in Food Show, Jasper participated in Entomology ID. Today we have 4 youth competing in Educational Presentations! (Evelyn, Samantha, Kaden & Leilah) ๐โบ๏ธ๐
