Birds play an important part in insect control and are a vital part to healthy parks and greenspaces. The great crested flycatcher is just one of the birds that might be seen next Saturday, May 9, at Chisholm Trail Park. Join Park & Rec staff and Fort Worth Audubon Society (FWAS) for a Nature & Narrative bird walk at 8:30 AM. Meet by the windmill near McPherson Blvd. Bring binoculars if you have them or use a loaner pair. Photo credit: R. Branch.
