Texas Parks and Wildlife-DFW Urban Wildlife has an intern this summer and she'll be spending time in our parks and Open Space properties documenting biodiversity! Welcome UNT's Ecology student Frankie!

Thanks to a $338,050 grant from Rainwater Charitable Foundation, Camp Fort Worth is expanding literacy support to help more campers maintain and improve their reading skills all summer long.

Birds play an important part in insect control and are a vital part to healthy parks and greenspaces. The great crested flycatcher is just one of the birds that might be seen next Saturday, May 9, at Chisholm Trail Park. Join Park & Rec staff and Fort Worth Audubon Society (FWAS) for a Nature & Narrative bird walk at 8:30 AM.
