My name is Laura Garcia and I am a board member for the Calwa Recreation and Park District. Calwa isn’t just a park to me and my family.

Born & Raised in Calwa: I am the daughter of farmworker immigrants who came to this country looking for better opportunities and the 1st in my family to graduate from college.
