We got a triple whammy for you this time. In order celebrate Juneteenth, Mother’s Day, AND Father’s Day, we decided to give donuts, muffins, and coffee to all of our staff and individuals on Friday. Not only that, but we even had some sugar free options for those that needed it. Hope you all enjoyed your holidays.

At CVS, we love to get our fitness on. Here we have our individuals in CAVE getting their workouts done at Woodward Park. We always have a great time when we’re out getting our exercise.

Adaptive Recreation is one of the most fun things our individuals can do. does a great job of coming up with cool arts and crafts projects for folks to do every month. It’s always great to see our individuals expressing their creativity.

Normally we do basketball in the spring for the Special Olympics. We got an opportunity to join with Coach Wiggins to have some basketball fun in the summer. We even get to beat the heat by playing safely in the gymnasium. Talk about a slam dunk!

This is why we love coming to Fresno A’s games. Our individuals got invited on the field to play more baseball mini games today. We love when CVS gets to unleash their inner star athlete! ⚾️

One important life skill we teach here is mobility training. Making sure our individuals know how to use the bus, read routes, and navigate to where they want to go in the city is crucial for their independence. The best part is we have a blast learning this life skill together!

We took a special summer trip over to the last Friday. Our individuals got to see so many cool animals and spend some good quality time together. What are your favorite animals to see at the zoo?
