World Refugee Day, observed each year on June 20, is a time to honor the strength, resilience, and contributions of refugees around the world. It invites us to reflect on the journeys of individuals and families who have been forced to flee their homes in search of safety due to conflict and persecution. As we recognize the courage and determination it takes to rebuild a life in an unfamiliar place, we also remember those who lost their lives along the way. This day reminds us of our shared humanity and the importance of fostering communities where all people are safe, welcomed, valued, and given the opportunity to thrive.

Here is our last video activity from our Home Visitation's "DIY With Us" series, where families can learn how to complete simple "do-it-yourself" activities from our Parent Educators with items and materials that can easily be found in the home.

Today's video features our Parent Educator, Dena, with a shape activity.

Please try it with your families and share how the activity went.

Happy learning! Stay tuned for future series from our team.
