Celebrating 5 Years with Janea Castillo
This week, we are proud to celebrate Janea Castillo’s 5-year anniversary with Kimberlite. As our Graveyard Shift Supervisor, Janea is a steady presence for the Central Station team overnight.

Celebrating 10 Years with Benjamin Chaidez
On February 27th, we are proud to celebrate Benjamin Chaidez’s 10-year anniversary with Sonitrol Kimberlite. Ben serves as an Installer for our Bakersfield Division, and his journey with Sonitrol reflects commitment, adaptability, and teamwork.
Sharing his perspective, Fernando Aguirre, Technical Manager, said:
“Ben has held several roles during his time with Sonitrol. He previously served as a Tech Manager and even left to work for one of our customers. When we later needed help with service, Ben returned part time, which soon became full time again. Throughout his career, Ben has helped train several technicians, including me. He gave me my start with Sonitrol. Ben has also traveled to other offices to support installations and service when help was needed. His willingness to step in and support the team has made a real difference.”
Ben’s experience, flexibility, and willingness to support others continue to strengthen our operations and our team.

On January 8th at 8:05 pm, a camera alert identified a subject inside a secured area at a local school in Delano. Our Central Station immediately dispatched Delano Police. Officers quickly apprehended one subject on site.

From Jennifer’s very first week, it was clear how smart and capable she was. Fifteen years later, she is still making my job easier. Jennifer is intelligent, flexible, and genuinely caring, and she sets an incredible example for our entire team. She manages one of the most diverse roles in Central Station and somehow keeps everything flowing smoothly. Both Central Station and the field rely on her every day, and we truly feel it when she is not here. Her ability to support fire services, Central Station operations, and the field is impressive, and she is deeply appreciated by our entire management team.
