Enjoying an overcast troop picnic in Sachse at Salmon Park. Pretty little park surrounded with green so you feel like you’re out in the middle of nowhere.

Happy to see this stretch of Walnut getting repaired. NOT thrilled to see we’re still using Tri-Con, the contractor who bulldozed through Spring Creek Forest Preserve last year and did so much irreparable damage.

Okay, I’ve been hearing this from all directions: “Why isn’t Downtown Garland holding watch parties for the World Cup?” Here you go!
Please read!
We've heard the requests... so we found a way to make it happen.
Intrinsic has never been a sports bar, and we don't plan to become one. Our focus has always been great beer, Central Texas barbecue, live music, local art, and creating a place where people can gather and connect.
That isn't changing.
But with so many people excited about this summer's international soccer matches, we wanted to create a way for our guests to enjoy the games without sacrificing the atmosphere that makes Intrinsic special.
We've recently installed two large projectors inside and a TV on our covered patio so you can catch the action while still enjoying everything you already love about Intrinsic.
Whether you're a die-hard soccer fan or just looking for an excuse to enjoy a few beers with friends, we'd love to have you join us.
⚽ Soccer on the big screen
🍺 House-brewed beer
🍖 Central Texas barbecue
🎶 Live music
🎨 The same community-focused atmosphere you've always known
Come grab a beer, share a meal, and watch a match with us.

Glad to see this. It’s been badly needed in Dallas County for years.
