Another update on the state of the reflecting pool and the reported algae blooms.

Grateful to the Department of the Interior and the National Park Service working around the clock to make our nation’s capital look incredible for our 250th!

Today, we recognize Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and marks an important chapter in our nation's history.

As we reflect on the progress our country has made, we also remember the values of freedom and opportunity that continue to unite us as Americans.

Today, the average first-time homebuyer is nearly 40 years old.

For National Homeownership Month, I am highlighting my bill, the Unlocking Homeownership Act, which would expand opportunities for first-time homebuyers by increasing savings flexibility.

The American Dream has always included the opportunity to own a home, and my bill allows families to use money they have already saved to make that possible.

Last night I was able to get in a good walk around DC and wanted to see how the newly renovated reflection pool looked. I had seen posts from some of my Democratic colleagues criticizing the renovations and stating the the new pool would no longer reflect. Well, I think this picture I took on my iPhone answers that question. It looks amazing. I may post some more pics and videos today because I can say that President Trump’s team at the Department of Interior is doing an amazing job of restoring our capital city.
