This week, we had the honor of hosting the Calm the Chaos fireground leadership program here in Hialeah.

Members of our department trained alongside firefighters and officers from departments across the country, as well as several of our neighboring agencies here in Miami-Dade County.

This type of training matters. It focuses on making good decisions under pressure, communicating clearly, managing risk, and leading when the situation is moving fast.

At the end of the day, training like this makes us all better, better for our crews, better for the people we serve, and better for the fire service as a whole.

Last night, our Hialeah Fire Department firefighters responded to a vacant house fire and quickly initiated both an interior and exterior attack to bring the fire under control. Their fast and aggressive actions prevented the fire from spreading to any nearby structures and helped protect the surrounding community.

Our Hialeah firefighters remain ready to respond at a moment’s notice to protect lives and property throughout our city. 🚒🔥

Last night, our crews responded to a working structure fire and acted quickly to contain the flames and prevent further spread to neighboring units.

Through aggressive fire attack and coordinated operations, firefighters were able to bring the incident under control while protecting surrounding homes and property.

Our crews coordinated with MDFR Air Rescue during a recent trauma response, ensuring rapid patient transport and continuity of care from the scene to the hospital.

Strong partnerships, quick action, and teamwork help us deliver the highest level of emergency care to our community. 🚁🚑🔥

Hialeah Firefighters responded quickly to a garbage truck fire, working aggressively to contain and extinguish the flames before they could spread further. Crews operated from multiple sides of the vehicle while cooling hotspots and protecting nearby exposures.

Incidents like these can escalate rapidly due to fuel loads and compressed materials inside sanitation trucks, making fast action critical.
