HCTRA continues to monitor weather and roadway conditions as heavy rainfall remains possible across the region. The National Weather Service Houston/Galveston says a Flood Watch remains in effect.
Additional rainfall totals of 2–4 inches are expected, with isolated higher amounts possible, and rainfall rates could exceed 4 inches per hour in the heaviest downpours. The Harris County Toll Road Authority - HCTRA is closely monitoring weather and roadway conditions as rainfall continues across our region.
The US National Weather Service Houston-Galveston Texas says a Flood Watch remains in effect for Southeast Texas through Thursday morning, with the potential for life-threatening flooding in some areas. Heavy rainfall may lead to street flooding.
We will share updates if there are major impacts to the toll road system, Washburn Tunnel or Lynchburg Ferry.
