Today HG Commander Oscar Pedraza, along with L341 LODD Chairman Gabe Dominguez and L341 Committee member Kevin Maynard, honored Odessa Fire Dept LODD, Lt Huerta. Along with the IAFF, they were able to offer assistance with the planning and operations of his service. We offer prayers and our deepest condolences to OFD and Lt Huertas family. Godspeed brother.

A HUGE Congratulations to our newest Assistant Honor Guard Commander! We would like to introduce Ellena Torres! She is the first female to ever hold the position in our departments history! She has proven herself with her motivation and her commitment to honoring our fallen! We can’t wait to see what more she will bring to this elite unit! Glad to have you!

The Honor Guard would like to thank our prior Assistant Honor Guard Commander Carlos Pascualli on his commitment to our members and the families of our fallen. We wish you well in your retirement! Congratulations Carlos!

HFD HG along with HPD HG were honored to work alongside eachother to represent the city with the Tunnel to Tower foundation in bringing Steel Across America to Houston Space Center.
