Hello Patriots,

It’s time for our annual spring cleaning yard sale! This year, we are excited to partner with Arcadian American Farms at the Kingman Social House, located at 615 Hall St.

The event will take place THIS Saturday, June 20th, from 8:00 AM to 3:00pm

We are accepting donations throughout the week at our GOP office 2116 Stockton Hill Rd. Since our office space is limited, please wait until Thursday to bring in any large items.

Please ensure all donations are clean, functional, and in good condition. We also need clothes hangers.

All proceeds will support our "Get Out the Vote" efforts. In addition to the yard sale treasures, there will be a food truck, a lemonade stand, farm-fresh eggs, strawberries and music.

Thank you for your continued support and for helping us clear out those closets for a great cause!

Best regards

Mohave Darth Signious: The Sign Strikes Back

The Mohave Insider – Opinion update

Lisa priester is currently out of custody and released on her own recognizance !!!!!!!

Over the past several weeks, political signs across Mohave County have reportedly been damaged, removed, stolen, or vandalized. Regardless of which candidate or political party someone supports, most reasonable people can agree that destroying campaign signs is not a productive way to participate in the political process.

Recently, an arrest was made in connection with allegations involving political sign theft and vandalism. Lisa Priester a known radical Democrat who is known throughout Mohave county for harrasment and stalking republicans and republican and conservative candidates .As with any criminal case, all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. However, the incident has reignited discussions about the growing hostility and division that often accompany local politics.

Many candidates operate on limited campaign budgets. Replacing damaged signs can be expensive, especially for local races where every dollar matters. Beyond the financial impact, damaged signs can create safety concerns if debris ends up on roadways or causes distractions for motorists. They can also impact the environment and some candidates have openly admitted that some of those signs have been stolen completely.

Political disagreements are a normal part of democracy. Voters have every right to support, oppose, criticize, or debate candidates and policies. What they do not have the right to do is destroy property, intimidate others, or interfere with lawful political expression.

As some residents have jokingly referred to the situation, “Mohave Darth Signious” appears to have learned that the path to the Dark Side leads not to political victory, but potentially to court dates and legal consequences. While the nickname is meant in jest, the underlying issue is no laughing matter for candidates who must spend time and money replacing damaged campaign materials.

One thing is certain: campaign signs are not defeated by lightsabers, midnight missions, or Sith-level determination. They are defeated when voters cast their ballots.

Whether you support conservatives, Republicans, Democrats, independents, or any other political viewpoint, respect for the law and for each other’s rights should remain a common value. If you disagree with a candidate, vote against them, debate their ideas, or support their opponent. Damaging property or risking criminal charges helps no one.

In the end, democracy works best when voters use ballots instead of blasters. Campaign signs may come and go, but elections are decided by votes not by who can make the most signs disappear before sunrise.

May the votes be with you.
