Our scholars kicked off the week in style for Hawaiian/Beach Theme Monday, bringing lots of school spirit, bright colors, and positive energy to campus! 🌴😎🏖️

Beyond the festive attire, our classrooms were buzzing with rigorous learning as students engaged in challenging academic lessons, collaborative activities, critical thinking tasks, and meaningful discussions. From building literacy and math skills to exploring new concepts, our scholars are demonstrating that summer is a time for both fun and growth!

☀️🍎 Free Summer Meals Are Back! 🍎☀️

We are excited to offer FREE summer meals for all children 18 years of age and under at select school sites throughout the summer!

📚 New this year! We are proud to partner with the Whittier Central Library to provide meals as part of their Lunch at the Library program, helping ensure children have access to nutritious meals while enjoying summer reading and enrichment activities. No registration or application is required—just stop by and enjoy a healthy meal!

📍 Please see the attached flyers for meal locations, dates, times, and additional program details. Help us spread the word by sharing this post with family, friends, and neighbors. Together, we can help keep kids nourished and ready for a fun, active summer! ☀️🥪🍓

Scott Avenue proudly salutes Mrs. DeLeon for her incredible 33 years of teaching and making a lasting impact on generations of students. We also extend our heartfelt farewell to Mrs. Padilla, Miss Kasane, and Mrs. Rytky as they begin exciting new chapters in their journeys.
