A Moment of Support 💙
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer one another is simply our presence.
This moment between Alarice and Kim reminds us that community is built through compassion, encouragement, and showing up for each other especially on the days when life feels heavy. Whether it's a hug, a listening ear, or a few words of support, those small acts can make a lasting impact.
At Nevada Homeless Alliance, we believe connection matters. Every conversation, every act of kindness, and every moment of understanding helps create a stronger, more supportive community for all.

A special thank you to all of the providers who showed up ready to serve, and to the Share Village team for creating a welcoming space for this important work. We also want to recognize Judah Recovery and Empowerment Living for reporting successful transitional housing placements during the event.
Highlights from the day included:
• 195 general resource connections
• 137 hygiene giveaways
• 112 medical information services
• 79 clothing and shoe giveaways

With extreme heat expected across Southern Nevada, cooling stations will be open June 10–17, 2026 for anyone needing a safe place to escape the heat.
Locations are available throughout Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Laughlin, Mesquite, and Clark County Library District branches. Some locations can also accommodate pets that are on a leash or in a carrier.
Please help us spread the word. A cool place to rest, hydrate, and take a break from the heat can make a real difference for our neighbors, seniors, families, and anyone spending time outdoors.
For a complete list of cooling station locations and additional resources, visit: https://helphopehome.org/get-help/
Stay hydrated. Check on friends, family, neighbors, and community members who may be vulnerable to extreme temperatures.

Thank You, Community Partners!
On May 28, Nevada Homeless Alliance hosted another impactful outreach event at the Bonneville Transit Center, and Brittany and the entire NHA team would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make the day a success.
A special thank you to the team at Bonneville Transit Center for once again opening your doors and providing a welcoming space for our community. We are also incredibly grateful to our amazing service providers and dedicated volunteers who showed up ready to serve, connect, and make a difference.
We would also like to recognize Caesar Entertainment for their generous water donation. With temperatures climbing throughout the day, that water was greatly appreciated and put to good use by guests.
Together, we welcomed and served 295 visitors, providing access to housing resources, mental health services, medical information, hygiene supplies, Narcan, clothing, hot meals, domestic violence advocacy, and much more. These numbers reflect what is possible when a community comes together with compassion and purpose.
And for those who participated in our attendance guessing challenge... 👀 295 was the final number! Be on the lookout on Sunday as we reveal which team came closest to guessing the total visitor count.
Thank you again to every provider, volunteer, partner, and supporter who helped make this event possible. Your commitment continues to create meaningful connections and opportunities for our community every day.
