The Clark County Parks & Recreation G.I.T. (Gap Intervention Team) Program, in partnership with LVMPD Office of Community Engagement, LVMPD, Clark County Family Services, Department of Juvenile Justice Service, LVMPD Northwest Area Command, LVMPD South Central Area Command, LVMPD Southeast Area Command, LVMPD Northeast Area Command and Three Square, will be providing FREE Late Night Teen Programming!

Join us for the Juneteenth Opening Address featuring Dr. Nikita Y. Harris, Curator & Executive Director of the National Black Debutante Project, as she explores the history, cultural significance, and enduring legacy of African American cotillion traditions.
This special opening program marks the launch of "African American Cotillions: History, Culture & Tradition" exhibition at the Clark County Museum and invites the community to reflect on the role of mentorship, leadership, scholarship, and cultural preservation across generations.
Come experience a stunning collection of images and stories that highlight the elegance, pride, and meaning behind African American cotillion traditions. This exhibit brings to life the history and vibrant culture that have shaped generations of leaders and community builders in Las Vegas. Exhibition runs through August 4.

The Black Debutantes in the Desert: A Fireside Conversation Honoring Les Femmes Douze scheduled for June 20 has been postponed. We look forward to sharing this meaningful conversation with the community at a later date.

This exhibit highlights the rich history of Latino journalism, broadcasting and community storytelling, preserving an important chapter of Las Vegas history for future generations.
