🐾 We had some very special visitors stop by to meet our summer interns today!

Hufflepuff the Bulldog, Finley the Labradoodle and Muffin Jones the Pug, from spent the afternoon sharing smiles, tail wags, and plenty of puppy love. 🐶❤️

Courtroom Critters provides highly trained therapy dogs that support victims, survivors, and witnesses during difficult times, helping bring comfort, calm, and confidence when it's needed most.

Our interns learned about the important role these four-legged heroes play in the justice system and, of course, got in a few belly rubs and grunts from Muffin Jones along the way. 🦴✨

💙🐾A big thank you to the Courtroom Critters team for brightening our day and showing us how a little paws-itivity can go a long way! 🐾💙

Keeping children safe takes all of us. 💙

Chief Deputy District Attorney Stacey Kollins works in our Juvenile Division handling cases involving the sexual abuse of children. In this video, she shares practical ways community members can help recognize warning signs, create safe environments, and protect children from predators.

When adults stay informed and engaged, we can help keep Clark County's children safe.

Every day, Chief Deputy District Attorney Payal Patal fights for some of Clark County’s most vulnerable children.

As a Chief DDA of the Child Welfare 5-and-Under Unit, she handles cases involving severe abuse and neglect. These cases often involve children who have suffered life-threatening injuries or, tragically, fatalities.

Through her work, Payal helps ensure that children at risk are protected and that critical decisions are made with their safety and well-being at the forefront.

Keeping children safe is at the heart of everything she does, helping give Clark County’s kids the protection, stability, and opportunity they deserve. ❤️
