Last week's storm came with a lot of damage. Alvo Road was hit the hardest, with downed power lines and 6 broken poles. This section of Alvo Road supports Waverly's water system, making it all the more important to make sure power is back on.

After the storm passed, crews jumped into action and started doing what they do best. 🧡 By the time the sun settled below the horizon that day, Waverly's water system was up and running. We want to thank Waverly city staff and customers for your patience. No matter how big or small of a job, LES will always make sure to get it done. ⚡

At the peak of last night’s storm, we had just under 1,300 customers with no power. The storm did a lot of damage, including 9 broken poles our crews found in the aftermath.
As of 12:30 p.m., there are 102 customers without power. Our crews are working extensively to assess damage, find repairs and turn lights back on. If all goes well, we expect most customers to be restored by mid-afternoon.
Customers who have been affected by broken poles are estimated to be restored late this evening. Broken poles take time to fix. We ask that you plan accordingly and keep checking the outage map for updates at LES.com/outage-center. 🧡
