More cars. More construction. More travel. That also means more crashes caused by speeding.

All summer long, LPD officers will spend extra time in high-traffic and crash-prone areas looking for dangerous driving behaviors, especially speeding.

Thanks to an NDOT grant, they can focus on traffic safety without taking officers away from regular patrol.

Slow down, put the phone down and help us keep Lincoln’s roads safe this summer. A few extra minutes isn’t worth a life. 🚧🚨🚔
