First State Clients please be aware of this SCAM!!!

First State has been made aware of fraudulent calls and text messages targeting customers from individuals impersonating bank employees. These scammers are attempting to make their communication appear legitimate and are requesting ACH transfers, directing customers to complete transactions, or claiming customers have been approved for a loan.

Remember, First State will never call or text you to ask for personal or bank information, and we will never ask for secure or one-time passcodes. If you receive a suspicious call or text, hang up immediately or do not respond. Do not click any links or provide any information. Contact First State directly right away.

Stay cautious, trust your instincts, and always verify with your local branch before you act.
