Teachers! Want to show your students the science behind modern agriculture? Join a Feeding and Fueling the World workshop. You'll tour a working farm, talk with industry experts over a catered dinner, and leave with hands-on labs and a $300 supply kit.
Biofuels connect students to deep science. Sustainable science drives innovation in renewable fuels, creating cleaner, more affordable alternatives to fossil fuels. For students, biofuels mean learning science in a context that deeply matters to them.
You’ll be able to teach your students how biofuels:
• extend engine life
• reduce U.S. reliance on imported oil
• power cars, trucks, and commercial jets
• cut greenhouse gas emissions per gallon burned
• yield co-products that show up in animal feed, bioplastics, and cosmetics
The workshop and all expenses are covered courtesy of National Corn Growers Association and United Soybean Board. Grab one of the few remaining spots at Nebraska’s workshop, being held in Lincoln July 28-29:

Today, the Nebraska Ethanol Board (NEB) proudly joined Governor Jim Pillen in proclaiming May as Renewable Fuels Month. From NEB Executive Director Ben Rhodes:
“Today’s proclamation of May as Renewable Fuels Month sends a clear message that Nebraska values the farmers, producers, and workers who make our ethanol industry a national leader. This industry fuels our vehicles and saves consumers money, and it also fuels development and growth across our state. The Nebraska Ethanol Board thanks Governor Pillen for his support, as well as our legislative partners who champion ethanol at both the state and federal level. While May is the perfect time to celebrate Renewable Fuels Month, the NEB remains committed to promoting and advocating for ethanol all year long.”
