A fun day at the pool or lake can turn into an emergency in seconds. Drowning is often silent and can happen faster than many people realize.
National Drowning Prevention Week is a good time for a safety refresher:
• Never swim alone
• Keep a close eye on kids near water
• Bright-colored swimwear = visibility
• Learn bystander CPR to help save a life until first responders arrive
A few simple precautions can make all the difference. 💦🥽
