Senior Grad Night at Disneyland is such a special milestone, and I was so incredibly proud to help send this amazing graduating class off to celebrate. These students have poured so much hard work into reaching graduation, and they deserve every single moment of joy, laughter, and fun that comes with it!

I hope you all had the absolute best time and made memories that will stay with you forever. We are all so deeply proud of you!

From July 1st to August 7th, join us for evening programming at Delano, Sepulveda, and Sun Valley Recreation Centers.

We’re dedicated to keeping our streets, alleys, and sidewalks clear and accessible. Earlier this month, our Sanitation crews were out in full force across District 6 to tackle illegal dumping. Together, we’re working to keep our neighborhoods beautiful.

Today, our team stood alongside Councilmember Jurado’s team to distribute air purifiers and masks to community members affected by the warehouse fire in Boyle Heights.

Working class communities like Boyle Heights and Sun Valley in CD6, are part of the City’s Clean Up Green Up zones — neighborhoods that have long carried an unfair burden from industrial pollution, poor air quality, and environmental neglect.

We must continue holding corporations accountable, protecting the public health of communities that have been asked to carry the burden for far too long. Thank you to our brave firefighters who are working tirelessly to put out the fire! Joshua Josh
