As we celebrate Father’s Day weekend, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to see our President & CEO, Ron Frierson, featured in the Los Angeles Sentinel’s Father’s Day tribute series.
In the article, Ron reflects on a remarkable journey that has taken him from professional basketball courts in Australia and France to leading one of Los Angeles’ most recognized business organizations. While his career has been defined by leadership, service, and breaking barriers, he shares that becoming a father gave success an entirely new meaning.
“For the first time since leaving home, I had a Frierson living under my roof,” Ron says of his son, Ronnie. “A little boy who looks like me and represents the continuation of our family’s story.”
We’re grateful for Ron’s leadership and proud to celebrate the fathers, mentors, and role models who help shape our families, businesses, and communities every day.

For more than 39 years, Ana has been an integral part of the Chamber’s success, demonstrating exceptional leadership, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to one of Hollywood’s most iconic landmarks, the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Through her stewardship of the Walk of Fame program, extensive media relations expertise, and ability to cultivate and manage key stakeholder relationships, Ana has played a vital role in elevating the Chamber’s visibility and impact both locally and around the world.
This promotion recognizes Ana’s remarkable contributions over nearly four decades of service, as well as the important role she will continue to play in shaping the future of the Chamber. As Senior Vice President, Ana will continue to lead efforts to enhance the Walk of Fame experience, strengthen the Chamber’s media presence, and support initiatives that advance Hollywood’s global influence and legacy.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce was proud to bring together members, board members, community leaders, stakeholders, celebrities, and public safety personnel for an afternoon dedicated to honoring the incredible first responders who serve Hollywood every day.
Hosted at the LAPD Hollywood Station, the event celebrated the unwavering commitment of LAPD and LAFD with great food, meaningful connections, and heartfelt appreciation for the heroes who help keep our community safe.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in recognizing the dedication, service, and sacrifice of Hollywood’s first responders.
