At a recent food distribution event at Pasadena City College Ducien shared how food assistance helps remove barriers for students and neighbors facing financial challenges.
He explained that many students would go hungry without resources like these and highlighted the importance of creating welcoming community events that help reduce the stigma around seeking support.
By bringing nutritious food directly to campus, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and its partners are helping students focus on their futures while ensuring they have access to the food they need today.
Thank you, Ducien, for sharing your story and perspective.
